No. NES and SNES controller sockets are shaped differently, so an NES controller won’t plug into an SNES and vice-versa.

Any emulator that supports DirectX should allow you to map the buttons. ZSNES uses DirectX, and I believe Snes9X does as well.

no, but i’m pretty sure they make wii controllers with wires. if not,
invest in some rechargeable batteries and a charger. i just leave mine plugged in all the time and when im ready for some fresh batteries, they’re there ready for me.
